How the compiled score is calculated
Shown openly so leadership can defend the number.
- Each participant rates every area from 0 to 4 (0 Not Established, 1 Emerging, 2 Developing, 3 Established, 4 Exemplary).
- All submitted ratings for an area are averaged. Unanswered areas are left out rather than counted as zero.
- The average is converted to a share of 4 and multiplied by that area's weight, so each principle totals 100 points.
- The seven principle scores are averaged to produce the compiled church score.
- Agreement is the distance between the highest and lowest rating given for the same area — wide gaps are flagged for discussion, not averaged away.
